Sacai’s Chitose Abe recently returned to Paris Fashion Week to present her collaboration with Nike, Carhartt Wip and Moncler.

Chitose Abe also showed the Nike x Sacai Air Footscape Woven in Paris.

Whenever Chitose Abe brings something to life, it systematically turns into a future-icon piece.

The FW23 Collection presented on the Paris runways will be no less: the Sacai show was a Pot-Pourri of eye-catching silhouettes, revisitations, and thick collaborations, such as with Nike, Carhartt WIP, and Moncler.

Sacai x Carhartt WIP.

The Japanese brand re-imagined Carhartt WIP’s traditional workwear garments with a personal touch: the collection features jackets with deconstructed puff sleeves, oversized coats with multi-pockets and double Carhartt and Sacai branding; technical jackets ready to face the most extreme cold, but with a refined and essential approach.

The collaboration highlighted Abe’s brilliance in the fluidity of patterns and skill in tailoring; thus, a typical Carhartt Wip work jacket is clad in elegant velvet or warm fleece, according to High-End Fashion styles.

Sacai x Nike Air Footscape Woven.

This collaboration is expected to be released during 2023 and features a special version of the classic Nike Air Footscape woven, a model officially launched in 1996, with a part suede and part mesh upper, a heel reinforcement and a lightweight Phylon inter-sole. The special feature of the silhouette is the side lacing, which makes this sneaker unique.

Abe kept all the peculiarities of the original version, adding a mid-cut panel on the ankle with Nike branding on the side, double lace-up and a bold sole typical of Sacai.

Sacai x Nike Air Footscape Woven will be released in blue/gray, brown/black/red/white colorways.

Sacai x Moncler.

During the FW23 show in Paris, Sacai also celebrated Moncler‘s 70th anniversary with a range of multi-layered pieces, functional down jackets and convertibles that play with the Apres-Ski style, taking it to the next level.

The duo previewed dystopian puffy jackets that transform into full-length dresses; pleated skirts adorned with safety buckles; and sherpa-wool padded outerwear and utility bags to detach and prune with you. Moncler‘s classic puffers were cut at the waist and became crops; all deconstructed elements, they took on a new shape and shone with their own light.
